Recently i got the chance to play SCP Containment Breach, at first it had problems loading, but it was fixed (due to me using the map editor of all things). Obviously i did get killed by SCP-173, but it was lucky since SCP-1048-A was about to scream, and id rather die by SCP-173 anyway. I also went into SCP-372's containment cell, but i never saw the elusive reptile. I was hoping to use SCP-860 but i never got the chance, due to the duo of SCP-173 and SCP-1048-A.
The Map Editor is easy to use and very enjoyable, each SCP is unique in their own right. and the game is not too difficult but is still a good challenge. I had that bug in the intro sequence where the to security members stopped at SCP-173's cell and never moved, not even shooting me. which they do if you slack around.
Although the game uses an outdated game engine, the game looks like it came from one of the more complex engines (apart from all the Memory Access Violations)
In conclusion i rate this game 9.5/10
+ Its an SCP game that has lasted longer than i would have expected, despite it using Blitz3D and not a more up to date engine.
+ The SCP variety is great, and with every SCP added, more rooms are also added to stop it from being over clustered.
+ SCP-860-2 and SCP-939 look great, no wonder they were the SCPs added in 1.0.
+ SCP-789-J and SCP-420-J made my laugh, even before getting the game.
+The Controls are not very clustered IMO.
- The Memory Access Violations can be annoying.
- SCP-173 is more of an annoyance than a threat.
Can't wait for 1.3!!!
